Talis provided structural designs and technical specifications for seven (7) pedestrian footbridges with maximum span of 32m as part of the Shire of Karratha pedestrian footpath and cycle network expansion project. Challenging aspects of the design were to standardise the structural configuration over different spans to create a homogeneous design and economies of scale. The design allows for modular construction of bridge segments to be fabricated off site thus minimising on site safety risks while optimising production and quality.
