Talis developed Western Australia’s first accredited MASP to aid in the use of C&D waste for road developments, to ensure no unacceptable environmental risk associated with the reuse.
The plans were prepared as part of Main Roads WA’s Roads to Recuse programme which aims to prevent a potential product being disposed of at landfill. The plans involve a combination of visual inspections and a rigorous sampling regime (including laboratory analysis).
Talis’ MASP has been commended by the WA State Government and has been used as the benchmark for subsequent plans.
