Talis was engaged by Great Northern Connect in relation to some investigations required for a depot on the alignment of the Perth-Darwin highway extension.
All work was scrutinised by various parties including a Contaminated Sites Auditor and involved the completion of Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations, a Remediation Action Plan and subsequent Validation Plan and associated works. Following the collection of site data, Talis was able to demonstrate the most sustainable remediation approach was to encapsulate the contamination beneath the proposed road.
