Talis was engaged by the City to complete an ASS investigation for the development of drainage infrastructure at a local park that was subject to water logging issues. Works involved the sinking of numerous soil bores to assess the acidity potential of the soils, followed by a groundwater assessment to allow the assessment of potential acidification and mobilisation of metals. The works provided management strategies to deal with the potential release of acidity during the project, including liming rates.
