Talis was engaged by FMG to undertake compliance audits of their Iron Bridge, Eliwana Mine and Eliwana Rail Projects. These Projects required the development of Compliance Registers, based on the conditions of state and commonwealth approvals, and also the obligations of Condition Management Plans. Each condition and requirement was assessed and given a compliance rating by reviewing evidence. The compliance audit was a pre-cursor to FMG’s State and Commonwealth Annual Environmental Reporting process, to ensure all obligations had been complied with or at least actioned.
Outcomes from the audits were used by Talis to then prepare CARs and EPBC Annual Reports for the three sites.
