Talis has had a recurring role assessing Melville Building condition and maintenance needs in 2018, 2020 and 2022. The work involves inspecting the condition of approximately one third of the City’s building portfolio on a rolling basis, and to a detailed component level.
Buildings are assessed for component condition, risk, maintenance and renewal needs. Deliverables include updated condition rating and data as well as a prioritised schedule of works to be delivered which is included in the forward plan and annual budget deliberations. The reporting also provides an evidentiary trail of due diligence and identification of emerging needs.
