Lee was Deputy Chair of the EPA from 2020 to 2025. Prior to this Lee practiced for more than 20 years at King and Wood Mallesons in Perth and Sydney as a highly regarded corporate approvals and regulatory lawyer, specialising in environment, planning and heritage. Lee is a director of Francis Burt Chambers, the co-Vice President of the National Environmental Law Association, and a member of the Law Society Environment, Town Planning and Local Government Committee.
