At Talis Consultants, we understand the challenges that come with spending our working day sitting at our desks. Recognising the importance of taking breaks and stepping away from our keyboards, we’ve recently been involved in a variety of activities to promote mental and physical health and well-being within our teams:
– Mindful in May: Talis invited a meditation professional to conduct sessions at our premises, providing our staff with valuable opportunities to unwind, recharge and practice mindfulness during the workday.
– Social Sports: Building on the popularity of our volleyball team, Talis has now formed a mixed netball team, fostering camaraderie and fun outside of the office.
– Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea: the Cancer Council’s Biggest Moring Tea is a yearly event at Talis. The event is always a great way to get staff together to raise funds which go towards supporting cancer research and those affected by it.
– HBF Run for a Reason: Talis sponsored staff to participate in this event, not only to encourage outdoor team building, but also to challenge themselves physically and support a meaningful cause.
These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating a healthy, balanced work environment and promoting overall staff well-being.
