Presenting at the 2025 Energy from Waste Conference

The Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) is hosting the 2025 Energy from Waste (EfW) Conference on the Gold Coast over the next couple of days.

This two-day event, hashtag2025EFW, will explore the evolving role of Energy from Waste in Australia, including the various technologies available, how EfW fits within the broader waste management hierarchy, and the opportunities and challenges involved in planning and delivering EfW infrastructure.

Talis Director & National Waste Leader, Ronan Cullen, and Queensland Waste Lead, Kartik Venkatraman, RPEQ (MIEAust CPEng NER), are attending the conference.

Ronan will be presenting on Day 2 of the conference (Session 5), sharing insights on “The Role of Local Government in Energy from Waste Projects.”
