– Matthew Hobley – Waste Engineer & Deputy Waste Infrastructure Team Lead
Matthew brings extensive experience across a wide range of waste infrastructure projects, including landfills, composting facilities, liquid waste facilities, and community recycling centres. Matthew’s key areas of expertise include landfill gas management, leachate and surface water management, landfill closure, modelling and landfill CQA.
He joined Talis in 2020 as part of the Perth team and relocated to Queensland in late 2024. He is also an active member of Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association’s (WMRR) Queensland Landfill Working Group and Engineers Australia.
– Vishal Rajendraprasad Chulliparambil – Graduate Waste Engineer
Vishal is an environmental engineer and a recent PhD from Griffith University, focusing on landfill ecological rehabilitation through phytocapping. He brings valuable skills in monitoring phytocap vegetation, installing phytocap monitoring systems, spatial analysis, and conducting social research.
With Matthew and Vishal onboard, we are excited to expand our service capabilities, strengthen our partnerships with clients in Queensland, and deliver tailored solutions to meet the local needs.
