In recent weekends, several Talis team members volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) near Perth Children’s Hospital, where they prepared breakfast for residents and families caring for sick or injured children.
RMHC provides accommodation, meals, and emotional support for families of seriously ill or injured children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. It is made up of separate local Chapters that are connected by a common mission and brand.
Taking over the kitchen for two morning shifts, our goal was to offer a moment of comfort and ease to families navigating incredibly difficult times. This marks the fourth year Talis has taken part in this initiative. Each time, we are reminded of the strength of community and the impact of simple acts of care.
We are incredibly grateful to RMHC for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause. It was a moving experience, and one we are proud to be part of.
