Nigel has over 15 years of professional experience in the Spatial Information industry, including 10 years as a Geographic Information System (GIS) consultant and several years in both the Local Government and Resources sectors. His areas of expertise include spatial strategy, system implementation, spatial governance frameworks, the establishment of robust spatial data management practices and spatial data analytics and visualisation.

As one of the founders and Directors of Talis, Nigel’s particular focus is ensuring that the business fully realise the value and potential of spatial intelligence to the areas in which they operate and work closely to ensure that the outcomes and any spatial initiatives closely align with the strategic and tactical objectives of the organisation.
