John is a founding Director of Talis Consultants with over 45 years professional experience as a Civil Engineer including 15 years in local government and 30 years in the consulting industry. John’s areas of expertise include Roads & Civil Infrastructure, Solid Waste Management, Asset Management, and Traffic & Transportation. His career is replete with achievements, from the successfully delivery of complex infrastructure projects, to working in leadership roles where he has led large teams and provided mentorship and guidance.

He has extensive experience in public works procurement and contract establishment has been instrumental in the capacity of Project Manager/Director, in the execution of some of the largest waste management infrastructure projects in Australia, including the procurement processes for the EfW projects in WA. John continues to be in high demand for his advisory services to local governments in the fields of civil engineering, asset management and waste management.
