Talis is heading to the Sydney Cricket Ground for the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia’s (WMRR) second major conference of 2025 — the Australian Landfill and Transfer Stations (ALTS) Conference!
The Talis Waste Team will be joining industry professionals from 27-28 August to explore waste infrastructure planning, innovation in design and operations, and the future of waste management in Australia.
Two of our team members will be presenting:
Day 1 (27 August, 2:30pm) – Session 4: Transfer Station Planning, Design + Operations
Our Deputy Waste Infrastructure Lead, Chris Stannard, will present a case study on Lutana Waste Transfer Station, a project Talis delivered including waste management consulting, concept design and approvals, and construction documentation across all design disciplines.
Day 2 (28 August, 2:20pm) – Session 9: Innovation + Insights
Our Waste Engineer, Isabella Hughes, will share insights on the toolbox for landfill construction and design in remote Aboriginal communities in WA, focusing on Remote Essential and Municipal Services (REMS) landfills.
If you are attending the conference, come along to our sessions and have a chat with our team.
