Congratulations to Paul Gauci for winning the “Young IPWEA Emerging Leader Award Western Australia” at the IPWEA WA State Conference 2024!

Our Engineering 2nd in Command and Senior Civil Engineer, Paul Gauci, has been recognised for his outstanding contributions to public works engineering. Paul’s achievement is a testament to his exceptional dedication and leadership qualities.

Paul joined Talis in 2014 and quickly established himself within Talis and the Engineering team. He has steadily risen through the ranks to become a senior Civil Engineer and the Engineering team’s second-in-command, emerging as a key figure at Talis.

Paul is a member of IPWEA, a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland and on the National Engineering Register. Throughout his career, he has primarily focused on servicing Local Government Authorities, working with 40 different LGAs across Western Australia and interstate. Over the span of 10 years, Paul has contributed to the successful delivery of several large-scale infrastructure projects, to name a few:

– Kargotich Road Widening, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale
– Barytes Road Realignment, Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley
– Cockburn Community Recycling Centre, City of Cockburn
– Bayly Avenue Realignment, City of Karratha
– Gascoyne River Bridges, Shire of Upper Gascoyne

Outside of work, Paul is an avid long-distance runner, pushing his body to the limit and actively participating in various club events.

We’re proud of Paul’s accomplishments and look forward to seeing him continue to succeed in his career.
